A-6B3 Electro-Mechanical Actuation Committee
The SAE A-6B3 Mechanical and Electromechanical Actuation Panel is the panel to promote the advancement of mechanical and electromechanical actuation and control in sciences, technologies, engineering practices, and standards associated with the design, manufacture, operation, and support of Commercial and Military aerospace vehicles. The scope of panel activities shall include the specification, design, development, verification, and support of mechanical and electromechanical actuators and actuation systems by providing information and documents discussing technical information, regulatory updates, recent technology developments, issues related to system development and in service operation and lessons learned. The scope of these efforts will cover primary, secondary, and utility actuation employed on current and future manned and unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles.
