Mbt Feedback Control System in Spark Ignition Engines-Part 2: Thermodynamic Model Study for Mbt and Crank Angle of Maximum Combustion Pressure and Mbt Feedback Control System

Further analysis was made on the thermodynamic 2 zone model to confirm the fact in the first report that the crank angle of the maximum combustion pressure (ϑ Pmax) at the minimum spark timing for best torque (MBT) is around 12 degrees after top dead center. And a MBT feedback control system based on the MBT and ϑ Pmax relationship was designed and applied to spark ignition engines.
