Abstract
Central tire inflation systems (CTIS) have been available on military tactical vehicles since World War II. In addition to the continued growth of use in the military, these systems are now available to the commercial market. This paper discusses the componentry and operation of the Eaton® Tire Pressure Control System, and its installation on commercial trucks.
