Abstract
This paper discusses a microprocessor based Hydraulic Circuit Breaker (HCB) that overcomes historical concerns surrounding hydra-mechanical configurations. Specifically, this paper discusses: description, operation, flow sensor selection, software development, reliability, dynamic testing, aeration testing, and live fire testing of the HCB.
