Abstract
Airborne pollen, dust, soot, etc., drive the need for filtration that is effective in automotive filtration systems. Conventional barrier type filter elements offer partial solutions with little potential for improvement. A new aerodynamic filter is now available with virtually no degradation of airflow due to dust loading and humidity, while delivering comparable filtration efficiency for the size range and particle types of interest, as well as longer service life.
