Abstract
In this paper, a model of mufflers used in cycle simulation of internal combustion engines, which is different from and superior to current single volume model, is created and a subroutine is finished according to the paper's model. The model has been verified and tested with a specially designed simple wave test-rig, which can do single factor experiment on researched boundary condition.
