Characteristic of SMC-Technology for Automatic Production, Interpretation for Bumper Systems

Abstract
The SMC-molding process suffers from unsteady process parameters.
In this paper methods are discussed to anlyse the actual stage of a production and to establish optimized parameters for an economic production. Most important is the pressure measurement in the mold to determine the flow effects in detail. This analysis can be directly utilized to increase the production quality.
Details of a bumper production are described.
