Abstract
The concept power steering ‘road feel’ is normally described as driver interpretation of vehicle handling characteristics under different driving conditions.
The objective of this paper is to provide an introduction to driver ‘road feel’ and to describe the joint efforts of TRW and Freightliner toward improved ‘road feel’ on Freightliner's new medium conventional truck.
