Abstract
This paper describes the static analysis of a 2½ ton payload truck chassis frame. Using a displacement method a beam model has been used.
The matrix analysis results are compared to laboratory frame bending and torsion measurements. The results showed that the beam model can be used as a simple and satisfactory technique to analyse a truck frame.
