Abstract
Modern CAD/CAM systems have provided powerful design and manufacturing capabilities necessary for the development of advanced turbomachinery components. This paper presents the examples of how CAD/CAM procedures are utilized in the modeling of complex structural systems and for defining accurate geometry for NC manufacturing. The achievements obtained by this cost effective and time-saving method are given herein together with descriptions of the computerized techniques used.
