A Microprocessor-Based Recorder System for Data Logging in Customer and Long-Term-Test Vehicles

Abstract
A microprocessor controlled recorder was developed for unattended long term data logging in test and customer vehicles. Its task is to record the operating characteristics in vehicles under severe environmental conditions. Additionally the entering data stream has to be pre-processed because of very limited storage capacity.
