Effects of a Spin Chute Installation on Spin Characteristics

Abstract
Data extracted from certification spin testing on a light general aviation training airplane was examined for differences in recovery characteristics that could be assigned to the spin shute installation. Several center of gravity and rudder surface positions were tested. Both normal spins and spins with aileron misuse were evaluated.
