Abstract
Fundamental engine configurations and general fuel control functional requirements for 250-1000 hp engines are discussed. A basic fuel control system and functional options developed to meet specific requirements of several engine models are described. Design details of several example options are presented to illustrate the degree of complexity required to obtain desired functions.
