Abstract
This paper will present the concensus of current thinking relative to the desirable approaches to the design of controls for Thrust Reversing actuation.
Two general categories of controls will be advanced, one for the system restricted to initiation during landing roll, the other for initiation during flight.
An actuation system which has been under development for the past 18 months will be discussed in relation to the requirements of the two major control categories presented. (Figs. 11 & 12).
