Development of Coating-Geomet Anticorrosion Surface Treatment for Brake Parts

The anticorrosion black surface treatment technology was developed by using aluminum-zinc duplex coating and special black painting. To achieve better impact, oil and corrosion resistance, we have studied the properties by changing coating conditions of aluminum-zinc coating thickness, black painting thickness and components of black painting. In addition, we tried to establish optimum coating process conditions by experiment design, finally the prototype of caliper was synthesized by using pilot coating line. For evaluation of coated caliper body and torque member, we have carried out impact test and corrosion test, oil resistance test, etc. The results were considerable for our specification.
