Abstract
A new method for measuring minute substances in the exhaust gas of low-emission vehicles was investigated to clarify the influence of the vehicles' exhaust emissions into the environment. We found that Pb and chloromethane are detected in the exhaust gas, which was not caused by the engine combustion or the exhaust treatment. It is important to pay careful attention to the artifact and the influence of the experimental environment on the measurement of minute substances in low-emission-vehicle exhaust gas.
