Abstract
This paper deals with a development of an electronic fuel injection system for an IDI engine to meet Euro-III norms in the M1 class. The DPCN (DPC-Numeric) system developed is an extension of the rotary FIE specification existing already on the Euro-I and the Euro-II emission norms. The paper deals in the steps involved in the development plan and also elaborates on the results that have been obtained.
