A Student Developed Sizing Methodology for Electric Powered Aircraft Applied to Small UAVs

Abstract
A sizing methodology for electric-powered aircraft is described. Results of two student design projects which used this methodology are presented. The projects showed that the methodology is useful in obtaining aircraft of minimum size for the performance and payload required.
