Scope

Content: This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash welded rings up through 4.000 inches (101.60 mm) in diameter or least distance between parallel sides and stock of any size for forging, heading, or flash welded rings (see 8.6).

Rationale

Content: AMS4967M results from an update of this specification that adds ASTM E2994 for composition analysis (3.1). prohibition of unauthorized exceptions (3.9), and revises reporting (4.4) and identification (5.1).
