- This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash welded rings up through 4.000 inches (101.60 mm) in diameter or least distance between parallel sides and stock of any size for forging, heading, or flash welded rings (See 8.6).

- AMS4967K results from an update of this specification that includes revises transverse testing requirements of 3.5.1.1.2 and requiring agreement on mechanical property values for material outside specification ranges (3.5.1.2.1.4 and 8.6), revises tensile properties to match AMS4965 in Table 2, the addition of AS6297 (3.8) and revises the report paragraph (4.4).
