AMS5618H includes a prohibition of bar cut from plate (3.3.1), provides for cold finishing of larger bar (3.3.1.2), deletes the size restriction for macrostructure (3.4.1.1), adds requirements for longitudinal macrostructure (3.4.1.2, 4.3.4), makes adjustments to acceptance and periodic test requirements (4.2.1/4.2.2), revises reports (4.4.2/4,4,3), and results from a Five Year Review and update of this specification.
