Scope

Content: This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash welded rings 4.000 inches (101.60 mm) and under in nominal diameter or distance between parallel sides, and stock for forging or flash welded rings of any size.

Rationale

Content: AMS4930L changes yttrium back to being not required for routine acceptance (Table 1).

AMS4930K added continuous annealing of wire (3.4.1).
