Scope

Content: This specification covers an aluminum alloy procured in the form of extruded bars, rods, and profiles (shapes) with nominal thickness up to 3.000 inch (76.20 mm), inclusive, and having a cross-sectional area of 12 square inches (77 square centimeters) maximum and circle size of 10 inches (254 mm) maximum (see 8.6).
