- This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of drawn seamless tubing in the annealed (O) condition. This specification covers products from 0.018 inches to 0,500 inches (0.46 to 12.70 mm) in wall thickness (see 8.5).

- AMS4080P revises properties in the T62 temper (Table 6), adds heat treatment response testing for T42 temper (3.3.4) when specified to facilitate stabilization of AMS-WW-T-700/6, addresses properties outside the stated size range (3.3.1, 4.4.1), revises classification of tests (4.2), and is a Five Year Review and update of this specification.
