Abstract
This paper introduces the new-fashioned PB35S92 type low inertia injector developed to meet the needs of small-medium IDI diesel engines which are now coming to be higher in speed and performance in Chinese market. A series of investigations on the optimization for the structure, the working process matching with engines, reliability and durability of new-fashioned injector are given in the paper. This new-fashioned injector is featured by its less reciprocating mass of moving parts, small dead volume, simplified structure, lower manufacturing cost, excellent performance matching with engines, remarkable effect of saving energy, more convenient for adjustment in service, complete interchangeability with the traditionary PB35S type non-low inertia injector, etc. Nowadays the new-fashioned injectors have been applied in batches in Chinese market.
