G-3, Aerospace Couplings, Fittings, Hose, Tubing Assemblies
This Aeronautical Recommended Practice covers two types of two unit Pressure Ratio Instruments each of which consist of a Transducer and an Indicator. The Transducer computes the ratio of two pressures and converts this ratio to a synchro electrical signal which is transmitted to the Indicator.
A-4 Aircraft Instruments Committee
E-25 General Standards for Aerospace and Propulsion Systems
This Aeronautical Standard covers the basic type of carbon monoxide detector instrument used to determine toxic concentrations of carbon monoxide by the measurement of heat changes through catalytic oxidation.
A-4AS8036 Update Working Group
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) shall provide guidelines for the maintenance, inspection, and support of rotary and linear mechanical actuators on in-service and aging aircraft.
A-6B3 Electro-Mechanical Actuation Committee
This document is offered to provide state-of-the-art information about design factors that must be considered in the design of new or significantly modified engine test cells used to test propeller equipped turboprop engines in either QEC or bare engine configurations. The report does not address design considerations for test cells designed to test turboprop engines with dynamometer type load absorption devices because they are essentially tested as turboshaft engines. Design considerations for those test cells are presented in AIR4989, Reference 2.1.
EG-1E Gas Turbine Test Facilities and Equipment
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) establishes safety recommendations for lavatories in transport category airplanes.
S-9B Cabin Interiors and Furnishings Committee
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) lists the lamps in Table 1 that are recommended for the type of service indicated. This list is not intended as a catalog and does not include many types that are now in use. This specification is not applicable to Solid State Lighting Lamp Assemblies (Based LED lamps). It does, however, reflect current practice.
A-20A Crew Station Lighting
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) covers the requirements for the types of glass to be utilized in the fabrication of cover glasses and lighting wedges used in aerospace instruments. It defines the maximum extent of physical defects and recommends standard methods of inspection and evaluation. Definitions of terminology used in this document are covered in 2.2.
A-20A Crew Station Lighting
This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) covers the field of civilian, commercial and military airplanes and helicopters. This summary of tail bumper design approaches may be used by design personnel as a reference and guide for future airplanes and helicopters that require tail bumpers. Those described herein will consist of simple rub strips, structural loops with a wear surface for runway contact, retractable installations with replaceable shock absorbers and wear surfaces and complicated retractable tail landing gears with shock strut, wheels and tires. The information will be presented as a general description of the installation, its components and their functions.
A-5B Gears, Struts and Couplings Committee
The purpose of this aerospace information report is to provide a listing of national and international metric standards for use in aerospace fluid systems with their equivalent SAE inch, International ISO, and European AECMA standards.
G-3, Aerospace Couplings, Fittings, Hose, Tubing Assemblies
This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) establishes the requirements for weld fluid connection fittings and rings to be orbital arc welded to tubing for use in aircraft fluid systems up to a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi.
G-3, Aerospace Couplings, Fittings, Hose, Tubing Assemblies
This document lists military and industry specifications and standards which are used in aerospace systems and for ground servicing equipment. The characteristic limitations of the hose, which are of major importance to designers, and the sizes in which the hoses are standard are shown. Revisions and amendments, which are current for these specifications and standards, are not listed.
G-3, Aerospace Couplings, Fittings, Hose, Tubing Assemblies
This recommended practice covers a rail concept stand that may be used for horizontal disassembly and reassembly, and maintenance, incorporating certain design features which are defined herein. These features include the rail dimensions and width, length and height of stand to insure compatibility with rail concept type transport and positioning trailers.
AGE-2 Air Cargo
This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) has been written for individuals associated with the ground-level testing of large and small gas turbine engines and particularly for those who might be interested in upgrading their existing or acquiring new test cell facilities.
EG-1E Gas Turbine Test Facilities and Equipment
This document defines the requirements for polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lined, metallic braid reinforced, hose assembly suitable for use in 400 °F (204 °C), 5080 psi (35000 kPa) aircraft hydraulic systems.
G-3, Aerospace Couplings, Fittings, Hose, Tubing Assemblies
This recommended practice establishes objectives for high performance control motor tachometer generators to be used with aeronautical and associated equipment in protective enclosures or completely within the shell of the aircraft so that they are subjected only to the internal climatic conditions of heat, cold, shock, vibration, and humidity. Control motor tachometer generators larger than size 23 are not covered in this document.
A-4 Aircraft Instruments Committee
The following is the history of SAE Committee A-10.
A-10 Aircraft Oxygen Equipment Committee
This SAE Standard covers general requirements and dimensions of various sizes of eyelet and spade type terminals.
Connector Systems Standards Committee
This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) advises that some of the chemicals being used to disinfect, de-ice, and clean airplanes can cause corrosion and/or degradation of landing gear components. Landing gear equipment includes shock struts, braces, actuators, wheels, brakes, tires, and electrical components. Some of the chemicals that have been recognized as potentially injurious are identified and recommendations for mitigating damage are presented.
