Product Assurance as Viewed by the Army Aviation Systems Command

The Army Aviation Systems Command view of Product Assurance is to support user satisfaction through life cycle assessment. Product Assurance provides the necessary management tool to assess today's weapons systems and quantify the challenge of the reliability and maintainability improvements desired in the future systems. Recent changes in the Army management structure have now made possible an aviation systems vantage point for AVSCOM Product Assurance. Today the US Army Aviation Systems Command is looking toward total aircraft systems management as a staff responsibility with Product Assurance functioning as a prime management tool.
