Abstract

Content: Descriptions of various methods of stealing off-road equipment and of defrauding Leasing and Rental Companies, Insurance Companies and Financial Institutions. Operation of the NCIC computer for Law Enforcement (Operated by the FBI) is described. Recommendations are made for manufacturers, in how to assist in various ways to prevent theft of off-road equipment and to assist in tracing and recovery of off-road equipment.
