Authors Abstract
Content
Venture Capital is shifting away from start-up investments into less risky second round financing. As a result, less than 1 out of every 100 aspiring manufacturing entrepreneurs is able to obtain financing for new businesses. This presentation will discuss present financing alternatives and will introduce an innovative new financing tool known as the BDP (or Business Development Fund), that provides a mechanism for American corporations to invest in these new technology companies, while reducing the investment risk, factor by more than 75% when compared to conventional venture capital alternatives.
