Human Accom and Design Devices Stds Comm
The Human Accommodation and Design Devices Standards Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports related to tools, models and procedures to create and improve the occupant package ergonomic layout of the vehicle's interior tools and procedures for consistent measurement of vehicle dimensions and seat dimensions taken during design, benchmarking, and auditing. The committee actively leads and works to have its standards adopted internationally. Participants in the SAE Human Accommodation and Design Devices Standards Committee include OEMs, suppliers, academicians, consulting firms, government, and other interested parties.
