Connector Systems Standards Committee
The Connector System Standards Committee is part of the Electrical Systems Group of the Motor Vehicle Council. The Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports related to design standards that reduce the complexity and performance requirements to improve reliability for connectors and terminals used in automotive electrical distribution systems (58 volts or less). Participants in the Connector Systems Standards Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and other interested parties.
