Snowmobile Technical Committee
The Snowmobile Technical Committee develops and maintains SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports related to snowmobiles and their components or systems. The committee also maintains liaison with groups such as the Snowmobile Safety and Certification Committee, Inc. (SSCC), Transport Canada, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), SAE-related committees and other organizations as necessary. Participants in the SAE Snowmobile Technical Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government and other interested parties.
