This recommended practice covers commonly used off-road tire sizes in tire type categories of E, G, and L in diagonal (bias) ply and radial ply constructions.

Issuing Committee
The MTC8, Tire and Rim Committee of the Machine Technical Steering Committee is responsible for developing, reviewing, and approving recommended practices, standards, and information reports related to the tires and rims used on off-highway, self-propelled work machines and related equipment. Harmonization with ISO and other industry standards is a global objective as well as awareness of governmental regulations that may affect the work of this committee.
