Scope
This standard establishes the general material and design requirements for oxygen flow indicating devices intended to operate in conjunction with an oxygen regulator and mask system. Flow indicators covered by this standard are for use with demand, diluter-demand and continuous flow oxygen systems.

The SAE A-10 Aircraft Oxygen Equipment Committee develops standards and practices in the design and information compiled from users, equipment suppliers, aircraft manufacturers, regulatory agencies and medical groups in the aeronautical oxygen field. The A-10 Committee also promotes safety in the aviation oxygen field.
