Scope
The purpose of this document is to present test methods that can be utilized to evaluate the filtration and operating characteristics of filters that will be utilized in a cryogenic system. The methods presented herein are intended to supplement standard filter testing specifications to allow evaluation of filter performance characteristics in areas that could be affected by extreme low temperatures.
Rationale
This document has been rewritten to reflect its use as a Recommended Practice. In addition, other technical and editorial improvements have been made.

A-6C1 Fluids and Contamination Control Committee
A6C1 is responsible for the development of standards, processes, and practices related to Aerospace Fluids and Systems' cleanliness in aerospace engines, hydraulic systems and missiles, and the integration of these components for Commercial and Military air vehicles. The panel provides a forum for government engineers, prime contractors, and suppliers to exchange technical information, regulatory updates, recent technology developments, issues related to system development and in service operation and lessons learned.
