This specification covers established manufacturing tolerances applicable to titanium and titanium alloy extruded bars, rods, and shapes. These tolerances apply to all conditions, unless otherwise noted. The term "excl" applies only to the higher figure of the specified range.
Rationale
AMS2245C results from a Five-Year Review and editorial update of this specification. Addition of References (Section 2) has renumbered following paragraphs.
The committee of Titanium, Beryllium, and Refractory Materials, AMS Committee G, is responsible for preparation, revision, review and approval of documents related to aerospace application of these materials. Included are titanium, beryllium, and refractory metallic such as molybdenum, tantalum, and columbium. The committee provides a forum for interchange of experience and ideas among industry representatives, both suppliers and users, along with interested government agencies, to ensure the utility, proper technical content, and industry acceptance of published documents.

Using Quotes
Words in double quotes " " are treated as a phrase. Conducting a search for "heat model" will return all results in which the exact phrase "heat model" is found, while "heat modeling" would NOT be included.
A term combined with a phrase will be joined with an OR operator.
