Scope
This specification covers metric bolts and screws made from a low alloy steel of the type identified under the Unified Numbering System as UNS G87400. The following specification designations and their properties are covered:
MA3376 | 860 MPa minimum ultimate tensile strength at room temperature |
MA3376-1 | 1000 MPa minimum ultimate tensile strength at room temperature |
MA3376-2 | 860 MPa minimum ultimate tensile strength at room temperature |
516 MPa minimum ultimate shear strength at room temperature | |
MA3376-3 | 1000 MPa minimum ultimate tensile strength at room temperature |
600 MPa minimum ultimate shear strength at room temperature |
Rationale
This document has been determined to contain basic and stable technology which is not dynamic in nature.

E-25 General Standards for Aerospace and Propulsion Systems
The SAE E-25 General Standards for Aerospace & Propulsion Systems committee addresses aerospace propulsion systems and components. These systems and components include bolts, screws, nuts, washers, studs, rivets, pins, covers, O-rings, brackets, plugs and associated procurement requirements, as well as solid film lubricants and design specifications for screw threads and fastener assembly requirements.

* Redlines comparisons are available for those standards
listed in the Revision History that contain a radio button. A
redline comparison of the current version against a revision is
accomplished by selecting the radio button next to the standard and
then selecting 'compare'. At this time, Redline versions only exist
for some AMS standards. SAE will continue to add redline versioning
with ongoing updates to SAE MOBILUS.
