HYDRAULIC MOTOR TEST PROCEDURE
- Ground Vehicle Standard
Published March 01, 1986 by SAE International in United States
This test code describes tests for determining characteristics of hydraulic positive displacement motors as used on construction and industrial machinery as referenced in SAE J1116. These characteristics are to be recorded on data sheets similar to the one shown herein. Two sets of data sheets are to be submitted: one at 120°F (49°C) and one at 180°F (82°C).

CTTC1 addresses standards related to specification on the test procedures, cleanliness, and leakage classification to enhance performance characteristics of Hydraulic system components, used on off-road work machinery. The goal is to enhance improvement on standards, by having liaison activities with other hydraulic groups as deemed necessary. This committee reports to ConAg Council through CTTC
* Redlines comparisons are available for those standards listed in the Revision History that contain a radio button. A redline comparison of the current version against a revision is accomplished by selecting the radio button next to the standard and then selecting 'compare'. At this time, Redline versions only exist for some AMS standards. SAE will continue to add redline versioning with ongoing updates to SAE MOBILUS.
