The Special Purpose Vehicle Committee is dedicated to creating, preparing and maintaining all relevant documentation that addresses off-highway headlamps and special purpose vehicles, including the following major groups of vehicles: 1. Light Utility Haulers (Turf, Industrial and Others) 2Low Speed Vehicles (intended for operating on designated roadways where permitted by law) 3. Other [Hovercraft, Tracked Vehicles (non-recreational), , Limited Productions and Trams]. Participants in the SAE Special Purpose Vehicle Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government and other interested parties.
