Scope
The bushing "TRAC" code is intended to be a tool that will aid in the definition of the geometric environment for the test, or use, of an elastomeric bushing.
Rationale
This technical report covers technology which is mature and not likely to change in the foreseeable future.

The Materials, Processes, and Parts Council (MPPC) promotes, directs, supervises and provides for the development of consensus SAE Technical reports. The council also conducts investigations for activities related to engineered materials, processes and parts used in the surface mobility industry. Participants in the SAE Materials, Processed and Parts Council include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government and other interested parties.
