Filter Test Methods Standards Committee
The Filter Test Methods Standards Committee reports to the Powertrain Systems Group of the Motor Vehicle Council. The Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports related to automotive liquid filters (oil and fuel). The committee provides a forum for liquid filter manufacturers and users interactions and works with both SAE and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) on the continued development of test methods required by the industry. Participants in the SAE Filter Test Methods Standards Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and other interested parties.
