This SAE Recommended Practice describes a procedure for measuring the hydrocarbon emissions occurring during the refueling of passenger cars and light trucks. It can be used as a method for investigating the effects of temperatures, fuel characteristics, etc., on refueling emissions in the laboratory. It also can be used for determining the reduction in emissions achieved with emission control hardware. For this latter use, standard temperatures, fuel volatility, and fuel quantities are specified.
The Powertrain Steering Committee of the Motor Vehicle Council (MVC): evaluates the current status, prioritizes and plans future work of the group's committees. serves as the decision making body on all standards related issues to assure relevance to the industry and scope of the committee. acts as a liaison between the MVC and the group's committees as well as the Powertrain systems portion of the automotive industry and SAE. Participants in the SAE Powertrain Systems Group include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and other interested parties.

Wild Cards

Using Quotes
Words in double quotes " " are treated as a phrase. Conducting a search for "heat model" will return all results in which the exact phrase "heat model" is found, while "heat modeling" would NOT be included.
A term combined with a phrase will be joined with an OR operator.
