EIDM Enterprise Information and Data Management
The SAE Enterprise Information and Data Management (EIDM) committee’s purpose is to enhance the ability of individuals and organizations to effectively utilize data and information as the foundation for decisions and actions. The objective is to improve management of data and information through collaboration with the users, developers, and decision makers. The EIDM committee shall develop standards, recommendations and guidelines which advance, promote, and institutionalize data and information management. The committee addresses the complete lifecycle of product and product related data and associated information from concept through disposal. Participants in the SAE EIDM committee include industry, government, and others across the global aerospace, commercial, and defense industries.
