Scope
This document covers bolts and screws made from a corrosion and heat resistant, precipitation hardenable iron base alloy of the type identified under the Unified Numbering System as UNS S66286.
Rationale
Updated para 3.6 by adding “two to” three threads in agreement with NASM1312-8 test methodology and general updating for SAE requirements for obsolete specifications and standards.

The SAE E-25 General Standards for Aerospace & Propulsion Systems committee addresses aerospace propulsion systems and components. These systems and components include bolts, screws, nuts, washers, studs, rivets, pins, covers, O-rings, brackets, plugs and associated procurement requirements, as well as solid film lubricants and design specifications for screw threads and fastener assembly requirements.
