The recommendations contained herein are confined to the input and output characteristics of electrohydraulic mechanical feedback servoactuators. The information presented should be useful for standardizing the terminology and for specification of physical and performance parameters.
The recommendations do not restrict nor attempt to define the internal design characteristics of servoactuators. As such, the material is equally applicable to servoactuators having different internal functioning, different ratings, different physical size, etc. In certain instances, standards for actuator design are recommended to increase interchangeability as, for example, pigtail color-coding and actuator polarity.
The specifications contained herein should be adequate to describe electrohydraulic mechanical feedback servoactuators used for position control. Additional specifications may be necessary to define special requirements for specific control systems. Certain dynamic compensation methods will be discussed.
The Hydraulic Servo Actuation Panel is the panel promoting the advancement of hydraulic servo actuation and control in sciences, technologies, engineering practices, and standards associated with the design, manufacture, operation, and support of aerospace vehicles as follows. The panel develops standards, processes, and practices related to hydraulic servo actuation and control systems for Commercial and Military air vehicles. The scope of these efforts will cover primary, secondary, and utility actuation employed on current and future manned and unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles.

SAE MOBILUS supports the use of the AND, OR and NOT BOOLEAN operators ONLY function with the Advanced Search.
Wild Cards
Using the asterisk, ( * ) allows you to search for a partial word. For example, entering a keyword search of aero* will search for any word beginning with aero.
Using the question mark, ( ? ) allows you to search for a word with a single character wildcard. For example, searching for t?re would match both tire and tyre
Using Quotes
Words in double quotes " " are treated as a phrase. Conducting a search for "heat model" will return all results in which the exact phrase "heat model" is found, while "heat modeling" would NOT be included.
A term combined with a phrase will be joined with an OR operator.
Searching for Standards
When searching for a standard please use the entire Document Number assigned, which includes the abbreviation. A space can be used, or omitted between the abbreviation and number.
