Abstract
The aim of this paper is to describe the basic principles and the application of a new software tool called Black Box Test (BBT). This tool supports the ABS controller design process and can be used for the detection of software and hardware failures and the enhancement of the controller performance. Therefore, this tool is an important tool to ensure the quality of the controller software and to reduce the release procedure costs.
