Abstract
The reduction of brake squeal is an important technological subject in terms of making vehicles quieter. We analyzed vibration characteristics of disk brake calipers in detail during generating brake squeal, and identified some places Which influence the brake squeal. A simplified method of brake squeal test by vibration response analysis was examined.
