A Study on the Brake Characteristic for Full Air Brake System of Heavy Duty Vehicles

The brake characteristic for full air brake system of heavy duty vehicles is inferior to that for passenger cars in the point of easiness of braking control. The main factor is a time rug of air line and hysteresis of brake valves and change of vehicle characteristic (change of vehicle mass etc.)
So this paper describes the system for erectoronic control of brake air line and braking force control to accommodate vehicle mass and deceleration.
