Abstract
The effect of seat and floor vibrations on temporal variation of interior sound quality of a small diesel truck was examined by the acoustic menu method. It was clarified that the interior noise at higher vehicle speeds was accepted as the more unpleasant one. This effect was examined more precisely through SD method. At the same time, the subjects were asked their temporal sleepiness while they were exposed to test stimuli. As a result, seat and floor vibrations had a significant effect on the temporal variation of interior sound quality and temporal variation of sleepiness.
