Abstract
Operational Deflection Shapes (ODS) analysis has been in existence for more than 20 years, but has been overshadowed by its progenitor, Modal analysis. This paper describes how and why ODS analysis was applied to the development of the GMTG T-series Medium Duty Truck and presents some examples of the results obtained.
